The Choices Program was authored by William E. Adams, Ph.D., Program Director for the American Family Alliance, a dedicated domestic violence counseling program in Long Beach, California.  His treatment program was chosen by Naval Region Southwest exclusively as a sole-source vendor for domestic violence intervention for active duty members and their families.  Dr. Adams has provided annual training for NRSW clinical providers since 2009.  The strategies and tools within the Choices program were developed over many years as the author and his colleagues worked with hundreds of men and women who struggled to end abusive behavior towards their loved ones.  Each chapter is illustrated with specific examples from clients who strove to make meaningful changes in their lives.  The Choices Program manual is a powerful tool for anyone struggling with abusive behavior in their relationships.
